Bollywood actor molestation case: Accused sent to judicial custody till Dec 22

New Delhi: A young Bollywood actress was allegedly molested by a fellow passenger while travelling via Vistara flight a few days back. The actor had Instagrammed her ordeal which left the fans and celebs in a state of shock.

After the incident, complaint was filed by the actor and soon the accused was identified and arrested under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) as the actor happens to be a minor.

Now, the accused has been sent to judicial custody till December 22, 2017 by the Dindoshi sessions court, Mumbai. He has filed the bail plea and the court will hear it on December 15, 2017, reports ANI.

A host of Bollywood celebrities had strongly condemned the incident and shown concern over safety of women in the country. They extended their support to the teen actor after the act.

The actor was travelling from New Delhi to Mumbai via Vistara flight UK 981 along with her mother. The actress flew to the city to collect an award.
