New Delhi: Recreating old classics has been the latest trend in Bollywood for quite some time now.Keeping up the trend, Baaghi 2 makers have chosen to give Madhuri Dixit's iconic 'Ek Do Teen' a new twist.
The song that gave us dancing diva Madhuri Dixit, is all set to be recreated in upcoming Tiger Shroff starrer 'Baaghi 2'. And Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has been honored with the opportunity to step into Madhuri's shoes for the song.
In the first look of the song shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Jacqueline strikes the familiar pose of Madhuri looking for her beloved to arrive. Just like the original, Jacqueline dons a similar dress. She is sitting with one hand on her forehead as the other arm is stretched away from her body. She is surrounded by men standing with huge light bulbs.
The look has been designed by famous celebrity designer Manish Malhotra.

However, Jacqueline, who has recreated the evergreen track Ek do teen on-screen for 'Baaghi 2', feels nobody can come close to Madhuri Dixit's performance in the original song.
"I can't wait for Madhuri ma'am to watch the song. It is my tribute to her. Her performance in the original is unmatchable. Forget me, no one can ever come close to her," Jacqueline told IANS.

As per reports, for the new version of the song, three choreographers, Saroj Khan, Ganesh Acharya and Ahmed Khan were roped in.
Ahmed Khan is also the director of the film. He was keen to retain Saroj's famous hook steps and even urged Manish Malhotra to keep Madhuri's pink outfit in mind while designing Jacqueline's costume for the new song, the reports revealed.
'Ek do teen' was originally choreographed by veteran Saroj Khan.
'Baaghi 2', starring Tiger Shroff, is the sequel to the 2016 film 'Baaghi' featuring Shraddha Kapoor opposite Tiger.
'Baaghi 2' features Disha Patani in a lead role and the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner name Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios. It will release on March 30, 2018.
