New Delhi: Mother's Day is not just about posting selfies or messages on social media. Instead, it is about celebrating the spirit of motherhood. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt on Sunday made her fans understand the same by doing something heartwarming.

The 'Dear Zindagi' diva recently released a green sea turtle - named Queen - back into the sea. Yes, she acknowledged the importance of mother nature on the special day and did this adorable act.

"So yesterday! On the the day of Mother's Day, I drove 3 hours out of our city to Dahanu to the Wildlife Animal Care and Conservation Centre! To support and bring awareness to all the great work they are doing there. I launched this beautiful Green sea (turtle) Her name is queen. She was found 2 months ago caught in a fish net and unable to move. After rehab she has been let back to into her natural habitat! HER " Mother ". #CoExist," the 24-year-old star posted on the social media.
