Rajinikanth says 'Vanakkam' to Facebook, Instagram family!

New Delhi: After making his starry presence felt on Twitter, megastar Rajinikanth has finally joined the other two social networking sites—Facebook and Instagram. 

Thalaiva shared one of his pictures from 'Kabali' on Instagram and wrote: “Vanakkam! Vandhuten nu sollu!”. In just four days, the legendary star got some 97.9k followers—yes! Such is the power of Rajinikanth.

The megastar joined Facebook on March 6, 2018, and again greeted his fans with a Vanakkam! In just a day, over 153,981 people have liked the page whereas around 154,855 people follow it. 

Recently, Rajinikanth made his debut political speech after announcing his big decision to enter politics. The legendary star addressed to a huge gathering of students at a private university just outside Chennai. He even said there was a 'vacuum' in Tamil Nadu politics that he would try to fill it. 

He unveiled a statue of late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran at a private medical college in Chennai amid a huge crowd. This is Rajinikanth's first major public engagement since he revealed his political intentions on December 31, 2017. The 'superstar' had then announced that he will join politics, and field candidates in all 234 Assembly segments in the next general elections, as per PTI.
