That's Hamilton's fifth British Grand Prix victory, drawing him level with Alain Prost and Jim Clark. Meanwhile just one point separates Vettel and Hamilton in the title fight.

Lap 51: Lewis Hamilton wins the 2017 British Grand Prix!
His fifth British GP win and fourth consecutive win this season. With the home win, the Mercedes driver cuts Sebastian Vettel's championship lead from 20 points to one point.

Bottas comes home to complete a Mercedes one-two as Raikkonen takes third.
Verstappen finishes fourth, ahead of Ricciardo and Hulkenberg.
Vettel limps home in seventh, ahead of Ocon, Perez and Massa, who pips Vandoorne for the final point.
Too much drama in the last few laps. Both Ferrari drivers Raikkonen and Vettel have punctures on Lap 50.

Just five laps remaining as 47 Laps are done and Hamilton is enjoying a comfortable 10s lead over Raikkonen in P2.

Lap 46: New fastest lap of the race from Bottas, who sets a 1:31.007s.
"I have no more fronts," reports Vettel on Lap 45.
The Ferrari driver is really struggling after that lock up and has already fallen 5s behind Bottas.
Bottas overtakes Vettel on Lap 44. This move by Mercedes driver is going to affect the championship result in a huge way.
10 Laps to go and Hamilton now has a 13.390s gap over Raikkonen, who is followed by Vettel, Bottas, Verstappen, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo, Ocon, Perez and Massa.
Bottas and Vettel are fighting it out for a podium finish. Lap 41 done and the gap between P3 and P4 is now under 2s.
Bottas is gaining on Vettel with every passing lap and after Lap 40 there is just 2.6s gap between the two.
On Lap 38 Hamilton reports his latest set of tyres are blistered.

After Lap 36 Hamilton has extended his race lead to 12 and a half seconds.
Lap 34: Fernando Alonso reports no power on team radio and it asked to box into retirement. It is his 8th DNF in 2017.
Bottas finally pits on Lap 33 and returns to the action on super-softs, behind Vettel in fourth.
Ricciardo also pits and he's out in P10.
20 Laps to go and it seems that Vettel would be just seven points ahead of Hamilton going into the race in Hungary in two weeks.
30 Laps gone and Ocon is closing in on Magnussen's eighth place, while Ricciardo is now up to sixth.
At the start of Lap 29 - Hamilton leads Bottas, Raikkonen, Vettel, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Magnussen, Ocon and Perez.
Lap 28: New fastest lap from Hamilton, who posts a 1:31.529s.
Race leader Hamilton pits on Lap 26 and emerges in front to retain the lead.
Raikkonen pits for softs on Lap 25, comes back out in P3 behind Bottas but ahead of Vettel.
Lap 24: Bottas sets a new fastest lap of the race on a 1:32.166s.

Lap 21: On fresh tyres, Vettel posts a new fastest lap on a 1:32.225s.
Verstappen pits on Lap 20. It's a slow stop for the Red Bull driver, as Vettel jumps the Dutchman to move into fifth.
Vettel pits on Lap 18, switches onto softs. Comes out in sixth.
After Lap 17, Vettel is back within DRS range of Verstappen, just 0.8s behind.
Raikkonen reports light drizzle at Turn 7.

Crazy battle between Verstappen and Vettel on Lap 14. The 4-time world champion is breathing down the Dutch teenager's neck.
"Does he want to play bumper cars," asks Verstappen over team radio.
Hamilton records a new fastest lap with a time of 1:32.895s on Lap 13, while Vettel continues to close in on Verstappen.
There is 60 percent chance of rain. Grey clouds can be seen looming over Silverstone but no rain has fallen as yet.
At the start of Lap 11, the Briton is 8.5s clear of his German rival.
10 Laps are done and Hamilton is out front in his Mercedes but Ferrari & Red Bull are not too far behind.
Vettel has moved to within DRS range of Verstappen on Lap 8.
After 7 laps, Hamilton leads by 0.2 from Raikkonen, who is a further 2.4s clear of Verstappen.

After 3 laps, Hamilton leads Raikkonen, Verstappen, Vettel, Hulkenberg, Ocon, Bottas, Perez, Vandoorne and Massa.
Grosjean is in P11, followed by Stroll, Magnussen, Ricciardo, Ericsson, Alonso, Wehrlein and Kvyat.
Sainz and Palmer are out.
Hamilton gets away perfectly, followed by Raikkonen. Verstappen is all over Vettel and gets past him at Wellington. Ocon is P5 ahead of Hulkenberg, Bottas, Perez, Vandoorne and Grosjean after Lap 1.
Palmer has a hydraulic problem and the race hasn't even started yet.

New Delhi: Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton delighted his home crowd at Silverstone with a crushing performance in qualifying to secure pole position for Sunday's British Grand Prix.
Hamilton, who is 20 points behind Ferrari's championship leader Sebastian Vettel, finished more than half-a-second clear of his nearest challenger as he bids to win his home race for a record-equalling fifth time.
Kimi Raikkonen will start in second place with Hamilton's title rival Vettel only third.
Hamilton's fantastic triumph also took his career tally to 67 poles, which leaves him just one shy of Michael Schumacher's all-time record.
