She plays the love interest of Bajirao in the movie and the audience is always eager to see a real-life couple (read alleged) together in reel as well. This time the bar has been set higher indeed, and by the man himself. So, watching Dippy match up to his performance will also be interesting, especially since Bhansali has given us a sneak peek into the film and what to expect. Deepika's beauty has been glorified with a hint of rebelliouness in her on-screen character portrayal.

Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai

We can see in the trailer that PeeCee plays the loving wife of Bajirao who is completely in awe of her man. We haven't seen her in anything like this before, so for Piggy Chops fans it will a new outing. Also, she played Ranveer's sister in 'DDD' now to see her play his wife on-screen is one thing that can be termed as a highlight.
