Four new Asus ZenFone smartphones launched at ZenFest

The four new Asus smartphones are ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone 2 Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Max.

New Delhi: Taiwanese handset maker Asus on Thursday launched four new smartphones at the Zen Festival in the national capital with a starting price of Rs 9,999.

The four new Asus smartphones are ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone 2 Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Max.

The Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe, the costliest of them all at Rs 22,999, comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM.

It also comes with a 13MP rear camera with real tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.

For the selfie lovers, the ZenFone 2 Selfie comes with a 13MP front-facing camera with a dual-LED flash. It has the same mega pixel camera on the back. Like the Deluxe, the Selfie features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB RAM for 16GB variant. The 32GB variant is supported by a 3GBRAM.

On the other hand, the ZenFone 2 Laser is seen as a smartphone for photography lovers as it comes with a 13MP back camera that has a laser autofocus which helps capturing pictures in less than half a second. It also features 5.5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered by Qualcomm 64-bit chipset clocked at 1.5GJz with 3GB of RAM.

The Zenfone 2 Laser will be available in three variants priced at Rs 9,999, Rs 13,999 and Rs 17,999.

The company also globally announced the launch of ZenFone Max in Delhi, a smartphone with humble specs but a massive 5000 mAh battery onboard.

It will also feature 5.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and will be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 2GB of RAM.

It sports a 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus along with a 5MP front-facing camera.
