Microsoft Corporation has finally rolled out its latest operating system, Windows 10, with new features that are tempting, not to mentioned that its available for absolutely free upgrade, providing one uses the Windows 7 and above version.

Microsoft Corporation has finally rolled out its latest operating system, Windows 10, with new features that are tempting, not to mentioned that its available for absolutely free upgrade, providing one uses the Windows 7 and above version.

With an aim to gain market lost to Google and Apple, Microsoft had taken feedback from fans and added features such as Cortana, Xbox app, Edge browser for better serving and not to forget the return of 'Start Menu' button.

Here is a look as some of the interesting features of Windows 10.

1) It's free: Yes, it's absolutely free provided one uses Windows 7 version and above. Besides, one will also need to have an email accout with Live or Outlook, again free, for confirmation of the upgrade.

2) Cortana: Talk to your personal computer as you would to your mobile with the help of the digital voice assistance. Besides voice, you can also type to interact with it and request Cortana for assistance.

3) Start button: The 'Start Menu' button that went missing in Windows 8 is finally back much to the relief of the users. There are more graphics with addition of Live Tiles for the menu which makes it look more colourful.

4) Xbox and streaming: Good news for the game lovers as the Windows 10 comes with an Xbox app what will help control Xbox One for any Windows game. Moreover, the streaming option will give users the ability to stream games from the Xbox One.

5) Edge Browser: In a possible replacement of the Internet Exporer (IE), Windows 10 will come with Edge Browser, which, as the name suggests, is edgier. And yes, IE will be missing from the new OS.

6) Universal app: If you are one of those using more than one Windows device, this Universal app is a piece of good news. Apps such as Photos, Videos, Music, Maps, Mail and Calendar will be easier to handle across different devices while the data will also be saved and sync automatically via OneDrive.

7) Windows Store: Windows 10 comes with a Windows Store which can help you browse the store on your PC, tablet or phone thus making it easier for one to purchase great digital content including apps, games, music, films and TV shows.

8) Snap Assist: With the help of Snap Assist, open up to four windows and snap between them for easier surfing and page viewing. Or you can still open up four of them on one desktop and view them altogether at once.
