'Quantico': Siddharth Mallya auditioned to play Priyanka's lover?

New Delhi: Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra has hit the bull's eye with her upcoming international television series called 'Quantico'. The actress, who plays one of the leads in the show, has received rave reviews from her industry colleagues after the trailer was out.

However, another interesting fact that was been reported about the series is that business tycoon Vijay Mallya's son Siddharth too could have been seen in the show. Surprised? Well, according to reports, Sid had auditioned for a part where he was supposed to play Priyanka's lover.

PeeCee plays Alex in the series, and Sid had reportedly auditioned for her lover's part. However, the role is now played by Jake McLaughlin. The show revolves around the life of FBI agents, who get trained the Quantico base in Virginia. How things topple for them after the devastating 9/11 terrorist attack on the US is what this series focuses on.
