No bail to three men accused of raping model at Sarojini Nagar in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The Patiala House Court in Delhi on Saturday dismissed the bail plea of the three men who have been accused of gangraping a model at Sarojini Nagar area in Delhi. 

She had recorded her statement under 164 CrPC Act on Friday before the duty magistrate at Patiala House Court in the national capital. 

The incident took place on 25 December and came to light when the model complained about it the next day. She was allegedly gangraped by three people on the pretext of providing her a job in television and films in Delhi's Sarojini Nagar on December 25.

The accused were reportedly known to the woman.

She had told police that she had met the accused around 15-20 days ago. They had then promised her of arranging a meeting with a film and TV director in Mumbai.

She met them on December 25 at a mall and took her to their flat where she was allegedly raped.

The three accused were arrested on December 26 after she filed the complaint.
