London Bridge was evacuated on Tuesday after 'suspicious item' was found.
London: London Bridge area was evacuated on Tuesday after 'suspicious item' found resulting in a security alert, as per reports.
Evacuations are said to have taken place close to Hays Galleria which is a shopping destination opposite London Bridge station.
Southwark police were called at 12:26 pm (local time) today after suspicious item was found in the area.
Officers were reportedly at the scene until around 6:30 pm with a number of evacuations taking place.
Hundreds of people were asked to leave their offices due to the security alert.
However, reports said that as per Southwark Police, the street is now open again.
Hays Gallaria is also safe to return to.
