Panchayat polls in Noida on May 29
Elections would be held for the post of 153 village pradhans, 1,957 members of village panchayats, 212 members of kshetra panchayats and 15 members of zila panchayats.

Lucknow: The district panchayat polls in Noida will be held on May 29 and votes counted on May 31, according to the notification of the election issued on Tuesday.
State election commissioner S.K. Agarwal said that nominations can be done on May 17-18, while the scrutiny of nomination forms would take place from May 19-20 and the last date of withdrawal is May 22. Allotment of election symbols would be done on May 22.
Elections would be held for the post of 153 village pradhans, 1,957 members of village panchayats, 212 members of kshetra panchayats and 15 members of zila panchayats.
Voting for all the four posts would take place at same time, said Agarwal.
The electorate comprises 3,50,741, while there are 594 polling booths.
With the notification, the model code of conduct came into place, he said.
