After prostitute slur, expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh likens Mayawati to dog

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice president Dayashankar Singh has stoked a controversy by equating Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati with a dog.

Singh, who was expelled by the BJP in July for derogatory remarks against Mayawati, said, the BSP chief is a greedy woman and is like a dog that chases a motorcycle, but steps back when the two-wheeler stops.

While calling the ex-UP chief minister deceitful, Singh said Mayawati's close relatives and senior party leader Satish Chandra has made huge money through dubious deals.

Interestingly, Singh later completely retracted from his stand and denied equating Mayawati with a dog.

Earlier, BSP had lodged an FIR against Party Singh, for his derogatory slur against Mayawati. He had called her a 'prostitute'.

"Mayawati gives tickets for Rs one crore and if there is someone who can give Rs 2 crore than she sells it for Rs 2 crore within an hour. If someone is ready to give Rs 3 crore by the evening, she gives the ticket to him. She is even worse than...," Singh had said.

Following huge criticism from all quarters, the BJP had then sacked him from all party posts.
