Chennai: In a tragic incident, two children were electrocuted and over forty others, including girls and boys were injured after a live wire fell on a school bus in Periyakulam in Theni district in Tamil Nadu.
The incident took place early today.
All the injured students were rushed to a local government hospital in the city.
As per the reports, the students did not notice the live wire that had fell down on the school bus, which led to the tragic incident.
Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Paneelselvam, who is also a local MLA from Theni district, visited the injured students in the hospital and ordered a probe in the case.
