Coimbatore: Shiv Sena on Friday urged Tamil Nadu government to take action against some self-proclaimed godmen who were encroaching upon forest land and using it to amass wealth.

Talking to reporters here, Shiv Sena State Organisor, Thangamuthukrishnan alleged that some godmen were trying to usurp forest land for which the government had issued them notices but they still continued to encroach the land and used it to amass wealth.

On construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, he said the BJP was hesitating to take steps for its construction.

If they failed in fulfilling their promise, an 'angapradakshinam' (rolling) demonstration will be held near a temple in the city, by gathering people and party workers to condemn BJP's attitude, Thangamuthukrishnan said.

He also condemned composer A R Rahman and actor Aamir Khan for their remarks on intolerance and said the party was ready to "send them where ever they want to go".
