Washington: Skygazers are currently in for a rare celestial event where five planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn – are all visible in the predawn and dawn sky.
The rare astronomical alignment, which began around january 20, will be visible to the naked eye in the early morning sky through February 20, 2016.
Jupiter will appear first, followed by Mars, Saturn ,Venus and Mercury.
The best time to view the rare celestial spectacle is just before dawn, ideally avoiding as much light pollution as you can.
It is said that the last time where all five planets were visible together in the night sky was from December 15, 2004 to January 15, 2005.
