Amsterdam:Microsoft has announced that it will be pulling the plug on its Zune music service on November 15.
According to The Next Web, the company says that the users will not be able to stream or download content from Zune after November 15, and content purchased with DRM may not play if the license can not be renewed.
The users Zune device and all the MP3s they have with them will work as usual.
Also, the Zune Music Pass subscribers will be migrated to the company's Groove service, which works with Xbox One, Windows 10, Android and iOS.
The users who are on Zune's monthly or 3-month plans, the company will switch them to Groove's USD 9.99 a month plan. The yearly subscriptions will be converted to annual GrooveMusic Passes at USD 99.90 a year.
