Rajasthan: Two detained in connection with Nabha jailbreak

The Punjab Police has detained two persons in connection with the Nabha jailbreak incident, one of whom is a friend of an escapee, from Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan.

Jaipur: The Punjab Police has detained two persons in connection with the Nabha jailbreak incident, one of whom is a friend of an escapee, from Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan.

Gurpreet Brar and his brother-in-law Angrej Singh were traced to Kishanpura village last night.

Brar, a resident of Firozpur in Punjab, is a friend of Gurpreet Sekhon who is among those that escaped from the high-security jail in Punjab.

The Punjab Police team had been camping here and the duo was held last night, Ghukkhar Singh, SHO of Ghamurwali police station said.

He said they were traced on the basis of their mobile phones' location.

SHO of Sadar Police Station, Rahul Yadav said the two were taken to Punjab for questioning.
