#BhaagSanjayBhaag: Sanjay Singh granted bail by Ludhiana Court; AAP leader trolled

Ludhiana: A court in Ludhiana on Monday granted bail to Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh in a criminal defamation case filed by Punjab Cabinet Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

Bikram Singh Majithia for his alleged remarks of his (Majithia’s) involvement in the drug racket.

 

Majithia had filed defamation plea against Sanjay Singh in Ludhiana court on January 16, claiming that he has been defamed as ‘drug trader’ by the AAP leader without any proof .

Last week, Singh had dared the Punjab's Revenue and Public Relations Minister to put him behind the bars, saying that he would continue to stick to his statement that ‘AAP will put Majithia behind the bars if voted to power as he is related to drug business in Punjab.’

Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur had earlier said that AAP general secretary and in-charge, Punjab party affairs, Sanjay Singh, would not apply for bail in the case.
