Chandigarh: Punjab's Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Wednesday slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for ditching its responsibility towards people of Delhi.
Taking a jibe at BJP rebel Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Deputy Chief Minister said Sidhu or his Awaaz-e-Punjab' front will not be able to make the slightest of difference to the political equation in the state.
"He would come a cropper," he said.
Cricketer-turned-politician Sidhu on September 14 formally resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party and said it was a "painful decision" for him.
Sidhu had on September 8 formally announced a new political front 'Awaaz-e-Punjab', saying that his fight was against the system and the leaders who had "ruined" Punjab -- putting an end to the speculation of him joining the AAP.
