Beware! Facebook dislike button scams on the prowl

New Delhi: In a recent Q&A in September 2015, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg hinted at bringing out a Facebook Dislike button. Scammers around the world saw this as an opportunity to make a quick buck and soon enough, we saw numerous ads on our feeds using the “take a quick survey” technique after which, it would present us with a 'complimentary' dislike button on our Facebook page.

Facebook users have long since, been requesting a dislike button on the social networking platform. However, Zuckerberg didn't exactly conceal his opinion on the button and hinted that they would work on a 'sympathy' button instead.

Many called his statement misleading, but the truth remains that the Facebook dislike button is going to be a no-show.

Survey scams are a well-worn short con on the internet that, at best, waste surfers' time while yielding nothing in return.

Therefore, any surveys, schemes or tests promising you one, are only preying on those hungry enough for a dislike button to make a penny or two. In a nutshell, they are nothing more than scams.
