Miranda House is the best college; here's the complete list of India's Top 10 colleges

New Delhi: The Ministry of Human Resource Development on Monday released the annual national rankings of all institutions of higher education in India. As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, Miranda House in Delhi has been adjudged the best college in the country.

The Delhi college is followed by Loyola College in Chennai.

The list was earlier restricted to Management, Pharma and Engineering institutions, and universities across India. This is the first time, a category of 'colleges' has been included.

The following are the Top 10 Colleges -

3)Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi

4)Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli

5)Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Delhi

6)St. Xavier's College, Kolkata

7)Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi

8)Dayal Singh College, Delhi 

9)Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi

10)Women's Christian College, Chennai
