Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government has constituted a single member commission to inquire into the Jhabua incident.
According to ANI, Retired High Court Judge Justice Aryendra Kumar Saxena has been appointed as chairman of the commission.
The commission is to submit its report within three months.
Meanwhile, the police have detained the family of the key accused wanted in connection with the explosion in Jhabua district.
As per ANI, the police detained wife, son and daughter of Rajendra Kasawa in Manpur area of Indore on Tuesday.
Earlier, three days after the explosion in Petlawad town that left 89 people dead and nearly 100 wounded, police also detained two brothers of Kasawa, the prime accused in the case.
"We have taken into custody Narendra and Phoolchand, two brothers of the main accused Rajendra Kasawa and handed them over to Jhabua Police," a police official had told PTI on the condition of anonymity.
Jhabua Superintendent of Police, GG Pandey, however, refused to give any further information about the development stating that the matter was under investigation.
The police hope to get definitive clues about Kasawa, who is absconding since the explosion on Saturday.
Meanwhile, police have seized 69 detonators, two batteries and a large number of gelatin sticks from the residence of Narendra in Petlawad.
The explosive materials were allegedly illegally stocked by him for carrying out mining activities.
Meanwhile, a top official associated with the probe said, Kasawa's mobile phone was functioning till Saturday afternoon (even after the explosion) and his family members had been contacted using that phone.
However, police said it was not clear who used that mobile phone.
