Over 2.5 lakh pilgrims visit Vaishno Devi during Navratras

 Over 2.5 lakh pilgrims have visited and paid their obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi during Navaratras in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu: Over 2.5 lakh pilgrims have visited and paid their obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi during Navaratras in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

As many as 2,58,946 pilgrims visited the holy town at Katra to pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine during the ongoing Navratras, an official of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) said.

On the 9th day of Navratra festival yesterday about 13,000 pilgrims paid obeisance at the revered shrine, he said.

The district administration in collaboration with Tourism department and SMVDSB has put in place all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of Navratra festival, the official said.
