After creating history by winning Assam in the recently concluded state Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no mood take rest. If reports are to be believed, after Assam, now conquering Uttar Pradesh tops the Prime Minister's priority list.

New Delhi: After creating history by winning Assam in the recently concluded state Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no mood take rest. If reports are to be believed, after Assam, now conquering Uttar Pradesh tops the Prime Minister's priority list. 

With the forthcoming UP Assembly polls in mind, Modi is likely to make a major reshuffle in his Cabinet. Some new faces from UP are likely to get a Cabinet berth whereas, some mediocre performers will be shown the door.  

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah is also likely to get inflow of some new leaders in the organisation. In the rejig, which appears imminent, Shah is likely to get some new vice-presidents and general secretaries.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Health Minister JP Nadda, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and Minister of State in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh could be dropped from the Narendra Modi Cabinet.

Nadda, Javadekar and Singh all three are expected to be drafted back to party work, said the report.

The Narendra Modi government completes two years in office next week and it is under growing pressure to deliver on its promises.

The report said quoting sources that the Prime Minister's Office is not happy with the performance of Nadda as health minister, while Javadekar is being seen as too soft for the sensitive portfolio of environment minister.
