New Delhi: The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India has taken a unique initiative in teaching women how to deal with incidents of sexual harassment, violence and uncomfortable situations, which they often face in their day-to-day lives.
The ministry has released a new video which encourages women to share with their sons the incidents of sexual harassment, unwelcome sexual advances, bullying which they had faced in the lives.
While most of the women decide to ignore such unpleasant incidents, the video calls for a radical change in the attitude of women to tackle this problem.
All a mother needs to do is to start a conversation with her son at home. Women as mothers need to teach their sons to respect women.
