New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on Friday detained two Kashmiri girls at the Indira Gandhi International Airport's domestic terminal after finding a suspicious message on one of the bags they were carrying.

The message inscribed on one of the bags read: ‘There could be bomb inside’.

The girls, who were detained for questioning, are students of MBBS in Bangladesh. They were on their way to Kashmir from Dhaka when they were stopped for checking.

After spotting the message, CISF personnel called the Delhi Police and also conducted a thorough check of the girls’ bags, The Indian Express reported.

The girls were later allowed to go after security checks revealed nothing suspicious.

However, they missed their flight to Srinagar and stayed with a cousin in Delhi overnight.
