Surgical strikes: BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma comments on Kejriwal, Nirupam's parents' 'wedding night' – Watch video

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rameshwar Sharma, Wednesday, stooped to a new low while attacking political leaders demanding proof of Indian Army's surgical strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

While slamming leaders like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leaders P Chidambaram and Sanjay Nirupam, who have put forth the demand for proof, the Madhya Pradesh BJP MLA made a controversial statement saying, “Those who are questioning the Army jawans are the kind of people who will only believe their lineage after watching video of their parent's first wedding night.”

"The Indian Army has been sacrificing their lives and blood for the nation and those who don`t believe in them are traitors. They all are Pakistani agents. Their language and tone matches with that of Nawaz Sharif," he added.

If this was not enough another BJP leader from MP Alok Sanjar claimed that some people were asking him whether the leaders, who are questioning the surgical strikes, question their mothers about their fathers identity as well.

Ever since leaders like Kejriwal, and few Congress politicians have asked the government to give proof of surgical strikes in which terrorist launch pads along the Line of Control were destroyed by the Indian Army on the intervening night of September 28 and 29, they have been receiving flak from many quarters.

Union Information & Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday lashed out at the opposition for "speaking the language of Pakistan" and seeking proof of India's surgical strikes across the border.

India has said that the Army operation was carried out following the September 18 attack by terrorists on an Army camp which killed 19 soldiers at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.
