New Delhi: Delhi Police on Tuesday filed chargesheet against TERI Executive Vice Chairman RK Pachauri, facing sexual harassment allegations by an ex-woman colleague.
The chargesheet running into over 1400 pages was filed in the court of metropolitan magistrate Shivani Chauhan who has fixed April 23 for taking its congnizance.
Pachauri, who is out on a bail, has however denied the sexual harassment charges.
In February last year, the former chief of a United Nations climate panel was accused of sexually harassing a 29-year-old female researcher working at the Delhi-based TERI office where he was Director General.
The complainant also accused Pachauri of threatening her after seeing her talking to a male colleague in 2014.
Trouble mounted for the 75-year-old world renowned scientist, who was already embroiled into a legal battle over allegations of sexual harassment, when another woman, a former employee of TERI, came out in public in February this year and made similar allegations against him.
