PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to martyrs of 2001 Parliament attack
Five Delhi Police personnel, a woman CRPF official, two Parliament watch and ward staff, and a gardener were among those who lost their lives in the attack.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid homage to those who had lost their lives in the 2001 Parliament House terrorist attack.
"Salutations to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the 2001 Parliament attack. Their bravery will never be forgotten," he tweeted later.
The Prime Minister placed a wreath at the photos of the deceased in Parliament House complex.
It was on this day in 2001 that five heavily armed-terrorists infiltrated the Parliament House and began firing their weapons during the time of Parliament session.
Eleven persons including five policemen were killed during the attack.
