Pak Army takes over govt, says Subramanian Swamy after fresh ceasefire violations

New Delhi: Retorting to the loss of lives of jawans amid relentless ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said the provocative regression from the side of Islamabad shows that it has been taken over by its army.

Swamy said the relentless ceasefire violations indicate that a war is waiting for us around the corner and that we should be preparing ourselves for that.

"Pakistan has practically being overtaken by the army, it is only the matter of an announcement. And I think now we should prepare for a major military assault," said Swamy.

An Indian soldier has been killed and one civilian injured in the ceasefire violation initiated by the Pakistani Rangers in Jammu and Kashmir`s Poonch district this morning.

The injured civilian has been admitted to a nearby district hospital for immediate medical aid.

Today`s ceasefire violation takes place three days after two women were killed and a child was severely injured in Manjakote Sector of Rajouri district.

The Border Security Force (BSF) retaliated after the firing, which began at 2 a.m.

This is the 100th incident of ceasefire violation by Pakistan, following India`s surgical strike across the Line of Control (LoC) on September 29.
