OROP suicide row: What Shatrughan Sinha thinks about Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal's detention

New Delhi: In an embarrassment for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), party MP Shatrughan Sinha, condemned the police action on opposition leaders and the family of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal.
The BJP MP disapproved of the alleged police action against the family of the Army jawan.
The detention of various Opposition leaders including actor-turned politician also Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal didn't augur well with Sinha.
Commenting on the protests and detention of various political leaders, following Grewal's alleged extreme step, the BJP MP tweeted, “I wish the Delhi situation after the death/suicide of an army veteran was handled in a more matured, proper, practical and fair manner.”
“Instead of sympathy, the martyr's family got beaten up, that too in Police Station (where else?). And leaders with huge followings, who... matter in society, were detained with brute force & taken into custody. Why don't we understand that opposition leaders are not enemies,” Sinha tweeted.
He called for urgent solution to the OROP issue in the interest of the armed forces.
The suicide by the ex-armyman over OROP has snowballed into a huge political show with opposition leaders viciously attacking the Narendra Modi government on the issue.
Rahul, Kejriwal and other opposition leaders are attacking the Modi government over the suicide of former soldier Ram Kishan Grewal, who allegedly took the drastic step demanding OROP's implementation.
A former Rajputana Rifles subedar, the 70-year-old allegedly consumed poison at a Delhi park on Tuesday evening demanding the immediate implementation of the scheme.
BJP has accused Rahul and Kejriwal of playing politics over the ex-armyman's alleged suicide.
