New Delhi: A Naval boat, used for harbor security, on Wednesday sank off Chennai coast after catching fire.
According to reports, the Fast Interceptor Boat T-304 had caught fire while it was sailing with two similar boats.
The sailors were rescued by the two boats.
"Boat had sailed out last evening but caught fire, fortunately no casualties. Inquiry ordered," Navy PRO Captain DK Sharma told ANI.
The Navy has ordered inquiry into the matter.
