Grenade lobbed at Shopian MLA Muhammad Yousuf Bhat's J&K residence

Amid escalating tension between India and Pakistan, there have been six ceasefire violations along the LoC in past two days. According to ANI, terrorists lobbed a grenade at the residence of Shopian MLA Muhammad Yusuf Bhat last night.

New Delhi: Amid escalating tension between India and Pakistan, there have been six ceasefire violations along the LoC in past two days. According to ANI, terrorists lobbed a grenade at the residence of Shopian MLA Muhammad Yusuf Bhat last night.

However, no casuality has been reported so far. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, a terror attack took place last evening at Yaripora police station in Kulgam district of the state. At least three terrorists are believed to be involved behind the attack.

Pakistani army has been violating the 2003 ceasefire agreement by resorting to unprovoked heavy firing, targeting Indian posts. Earlier Pakistani troops again violated ceasefire by resorting to mortar shelling and firing on Army posts and civilian areas along the LoC in three areas of Noushera sector in Rajouri district.

Ceasefire violations were also reported from Pakistani forces in Gigriyal, Channi and Planwala areas of Akhnoor.
