Expelled AAP leader Yogendra Yadav announces to launch new political party

New Delhi: Yogendra Yadav, who was expelled from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Saturday that he intends to launch his own political party soon, that will maintain the standards of internal democracy, transparency, accountability and develop new energy in the country.

Founder of political outfit 'Swaraj Abhiyan', Yadav said that he will ensure that the group continues to work independently in the future. He, however stated that there's no plan to merge the non-profitable organisation to merge with the proposed party.

Talking about 'India Against Corruption', Yadav admitted that it was a mistake to dissolve the protest movement as there was nobody left in the party to guide and monitor the members.

The former AAP leader further said, "Our policies are clear. We want to develop an alternative political force and launch a new political party. Our party will maintain the standards of internal democracy, transparency, accountability and develop new energy in the country. We have taken several steps in this direction."

"Our aim is definitely not to launch a party and contest polls. All the party decision will taken publicly and through democratic process," he added.
