Earthquake measuring 5.2 struck Nepal-India border on Monday.

Delhi: Earthquake measuring 5.2 struck Nepal-India border on Monday.

The tremors were felt around 10:35 pm.

As per National Seismological Centre, a unit of Ministry of Earth Sciences, the epicentre of the earthquake was in Uttarakhand along the border between India and Nepal.

Tremors were felt in the Delhi-NCR area also.

 Earlier in the day, an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale had hit the Kullu region in Himachal Pradesh.

On November 29 also, moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale had shaken Nepal's Capital Kathmandu and other central and eastern regions.

The epicentre was located at Solukhumbu district near the Everest region, around 150 km east of Kathmandu.

It had recorded the intensity of the quake at 5.6.

The epicentre was at latitude 27.79 degree North and longitude 86.5 degree East, about 120 kilometres east of the capital, Kathmandu.

 The quake was also felt in Kathmandu.
