New Delhi: In a major development, in all likelihood the juvenile rapist in the Delhi gang-rape case will not be booked under the National Security Act (NSA).
According to CNN-IBN, police was informed that the NSA can't stand in court.
Earlier, there were Intelligence Bureau (IB) reports that the juvenile rapist of Nirbhaya may have been radicalised in jail. The IB report mentioned radicalisaton on the basis of few intercepted calls.
The Delhi police was contemplating charging the juvenile rapist of the December 16 gang-rape under the NSA.
The juvenile rapist is set to walk free on December 15 after three years in a correctional home.
