Dadri: The controversy over Dadri lynching fails to die down!
Now, an official seizure report which was prepared by Gautam Budh Nagar Police says there was NO meat found in Mohammad Akhlaq's house.
The report was prepared by Gautam Budh Nagar Police after Akhlaq's lynching.
"The only meat sample police collected was from the tri-junction near Akhlaq's house in Bisada village, where a power transformer is installed," states the report by police, according to an article published in TOI.
Noteworthy, it was the same sample (meat piece) that was initially sent to the veterinary hospital and was said to be mutton.
Later, the meat sample was sent for forensic test, which stated that it was the meat of 'cow or its progeny'.
Ex-Gautam Budh Nagar SSP Kiran S, who was transferred on Wednesday , said the police did not possess any other meat sample related to the case.
The official seizure report states that the meat sample was collected on September 29, 2015 by station officer SK Singh in the presence of three local witnesses.
