New Delhi: In the wake of the Bharatiya Janata Party's drubbing in Bihar Assembly Elections, a Cabinet reshuffle may take place, reports said on Monday.

According to NDTV, the reshuffle could be held after the Winter Session of Parliament.

The channel quoted sources as saying that the PM and BJP president Amit Shah could decide on the ministers who worked along the communal lines which created trouble for the party.

Notably, the duo are likely to take into account performance of every minister in the ministry allotted to him and in the Bihar polls.

At a time when the prices of pulses were skyrocketing, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh were among those five ministers who had been camping out in Bihar ahead of the polls. Also, Union Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has been in Bihar for a long time amid the issue of call drops nagging the cellphone users.

And there were ministers who left the government red-faced with their comments on sensitive issues, such as Dadri lynching, killing of Dalits in Haryana, during the Bihar elections.

A number of political leaders had called the BJP-led coalition's defeat a referendum on Modi's work.
