Mumbai: A special MCOCA court here on Friday held 12 men guilty in the July 11, 2006 Mumbai train blasts case. One of the 13 accused who had gone on trial was acquitted.
The chargesheet in the case had mentioned 30 accused - 13 of them were identified as Pakistani nationals while 17 as Indians. Four of the 17 Indians are yet to be arrested.

Here's a look at the charges mentioned in the chargesheet against the 13 accused:
1 - Kamal Ansari (LeT): Arrested from Madhubani in Bihar on July 20, 2006. Role - Planting of bomb in train which exploded in Matunga. Ansari, who used to work as a butcher, had taken training in Pakistan.
2 - Dr Tanvir Ansari (SIMI): Arrested from Agripada in Mumbai on July 23, 2006. Role - Making and assembling of bombs, took training from Pakistan. He used to work at a hospital at Dongari.
3 - Faizal Aturrehaman Shaikh (SIMI and LeT): Arrested from Bandra on July 27, 2006. Role - Shaikh was a Lashkar-e-Toiba commander for west India. Twice underwent training in Pakistan and sent seven persons for training from India to Pakistan (in PoK's Muzaffrabad training camp). He planted the bomb in Jogeshwari train.
4 - Ehatesham Siddique (SIMI): Arrested from Meera Road on August 12, 2006. Role - Planter in Meera Road train blast. Siddique was earlier a publisher of jihadi books.
5 - Mohammad Mazid Shafi: He was arrested from Kolkata on September 29, 2006. Shafi, who had a shoe shop, had assisted in terrorists cross the border from Bangadesh.
6 - Sher Mohammad Ali Alam Shaikh (SIMI): Arrested from Shivajinagar in Mumbai on September 29, 2006. Shaikh, who was a hawker, had assembled a bomb at his house in Shivajinagar. He had undergone training in Pakistan.
7 - Sazid Ansari (SIMI): Ansari was arrested from Meera Road on September 29, 2006. He had made electronic circuit for timers to be used in bombs. Ansari, a diploma holder in electronics and who used to repair mobiles, had also assembled bombs.
8 - Wahid Shaikh (SIMI): He was arrested from Ghatkopar on September 29, 2006. His role was to look after the logistics part and arranged accommodation for Pakistani terrorists in Mumbra. Shaikh was a teacher before he was arrested.
9 - Muzammil Shaikh (Brother of accused number three) (SIMI): He was arrested from Meera Road on July 27, 2006. Shaikh was involved in the blasts conspiracy and was a hawala operator. Passports, tickets and visas for terrorists were arranged by him. He too had taken training in Pakistan. Shaikh was earlier a service man in a private firm in Bangalore.
10 - Sohail Shaikh (SIMI): He was arrested from Pune on July 25 that year. He was involved in doing reccee and aranging for meetings to hatch the conspiracy. He also took training in Pakistan and was job less prior to getting invloved in the plot.
11 - Zameer Shaikh (SIMI): Zameer was arrested from Worli on July 25, 2006. He was also involved in doing reccee and aranging for meetings to hatch the conspiracy. He also took training in Pakistan and was working as a taxi driver prior to getting invloved in the plot.
12 - Naved Khan: Khan was nabbed in Hyderabad on September 29, 2006. He had planted the bomb in Bandra train and was involved in the blasts conspiracy. He was an employee in a private firm at Hyderabad.
13 - Asif Bashir Khan (SIMI): Arrested from Belgaum in Karnataka on October 2, 2006, Asif had planted the bomb in the Borivali train. He was a billing engineer with Lokhandwala Builders before he colluded with anti-national forces.
While one accused Salim (from Pakistan) was killed in the Matunga blast, another accused Abu Umedh (from Pakistan) was killed in an encounter with ATS at Antop Hillon August 22, 2006.
