New Delhi: Can animals really communicate with humans? Although, you probably can't be sure whether or not animals can communicate with us, they're certainly communicating with each other and the world around them.
Koko, a female western lowland gorilla who has been learning sign language for the last 44 years, seems to be really good at it. It is said that her long-time caregiver and Stanford University graduate Penny Patterson has taught him hundreds of different signs.
The BBC is marking her upcoming 45th birthday with an hour-long documentary 'Koko: The gorilla who talks to people'. It will be premiered on BBC One Wednesday 15 June, in the UK. The documentary aims to answer one baffling question - can animals really communicate with humans?
