Third 'Car-Free' day this Sunday; DTC to deploy special shuttles
In an attempt to control the rising pollution level in the national Capital, the Delhi government is set to observe its third Car-Free Day on December 22.

New Delhi: In an attempt to control the rising pollution level in the national Capital, the Delhi government is set to observe its third Car-Free Day on December 22.
"The third car-free day will be organised on road No- 73 from 8 AM to 4 PM between ITO and Anand Vihar terminal on Vikas Marg on Dec 22," said R S Minhas, deputy Chief General Manager (PR), DTC.
For the convenience of citizens, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will deploy eight special shuttle buses along with the normal bus service on that route, he said.
Besides, sufficient number of DTC officers and traffic supervisors will also be deployed to help the commuters, he added.
Delhi government has also issued a toll free number- 1800118181 to answer any query of the commuters regarding the DTC bus services, he said.
