DMK chief Karunanidhi admitted to hospital, again

Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M Karunanidhi was on Thursday night admitted to Kauvery Hospital here again.

News agency PTI has quoted sources as saying that Karunanidhi was admitted for treatment of cold and indigestion.

He was discharged from the same hospital on December 08 after being admitted on December 01 for optimisation of nutrition and hydration.

The doctors had then advised the DMK chief to take rest and not to meet people in a bid to contract any infection.

The drug-induced allergy has virtually kept the 93-year-old leader out of public activities for the past one month.
