Baksha: The Bodoland People's Front (BPF) on Sunday announced that it would support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assam Assembly polls.
Speaking at a meeting here, BPF president Hagrama Mahilary said that his party would support the BJP in areas other than the Bodoland Territorial Council.
BPF, which has 10 seats in the current Assembly, was part of the Congress-led Assam government between 2006 and 2014.
