Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's health worsened on Wednesday and was rushed to Guwahati for further treatment, reports said.
Gogoi, who underwent two bypass surgeries in 2010, suddenly fell ill while addressing party workers on Tuesday.
It was earlier reported that the Congress leader was suffering from dehydration.
Gogoi underwent heart surgeries at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai in 2010.
