New Delhi: When you talk about the live music scene in India, 'Turban' is one band which is slowly and steadily taking over the hearts of music lovers. On Thursday, we got to attend one of their mesmerising performances and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the ideology behind their band was really impressive.

Lovey Singh Sethi (Vocalist) told Zee News Online, “The concept of our band is to highlight pure music and bring it to the audience. We don’t promote vague lyrics. There is a huge demand for Bollywood music, that is why we cater to it. Otherwise, we make sure to emphasise on folk songs. Our purpose is to make people happy with our performance.”

“We try to give more significance to the Indian culture,” added Gagandeep Singh (Guitarist).

The musical duo has been witnessing the LIVE music scene since past few years. Interestingly, they were really happy with the changing trends. “Earlier, the performers were not given much importance. But, with the advent of reality shows, people now treat us with more respect. We are 'glamour' to people,” explained Lovey.
