Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro up for flash sale today
Both the phones will go on flash sale at 12 pm on both Mi.com and Flipkart.
New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is once again ready with the flash sale of Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Both the phones will go on flash sale at 12 pm on both Mi.com and Flipkart. However, cash on delivery (COD) payment option will not be made available for the smartphones. The company had said that the cash on delivery payment option will be stalled only for the initial few sales on Mi.com. If you want the COD option, you can head to Flipkart.
The company has taken this measure to curb resellers. Reportedly bulk buyers use certain script codes to book multiple units during flash sales. This doesn't give room to genuine buyers booking units for themselves.
Xiaomi Global VP and India head Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted:
#Redmi5: we are making >4L units available for today’s sale @ 12 noon on https://t.co/lzFXOcYa5q & @amazonIN.
This is by far the biggest ever sale in the history of India!
I assure you that we're doing everything possible to increase supplies! (2/2) pic.twitter.com/bcZjvXjIzW— Manu Kumar Jain (@manukumarjain) March 20, 2018
