Xiaomi Redmi 4 gets permanent price cut: New price, variants and more

New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has announced a price cut on Redmi 4. The Redmi 4 has got a permanent price cut of Rs 500.
The 3GB + 34GB storage variant after the price cut, is available at Rs 8,499 while the 4GB + 64GB storage model is available at Rs 10,499.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 was launched in May last year with the following prices on each variant
2GB + 16GB storage = Rs 6,999
3GB + 34GB storage = Rs 8,999
4GB + 64GB storage = Rs 10,999
Xiaomi has not mentioned about any price cut on the entry variant of the phone.

The Redmi 4 comes with an all metal uni-body design and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Redmi 4 has taken the look from Redmi Note 4. The phone comes with a 5 inch HD display with 296ppi.
The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4,100mAh battery inside, 5 megapixel front facing camera and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI.
