New Delhi: Nokia is expected to launch its latest series of smartphones in India at an event in the first week of June, as per news report.

As per a report in Gadgets 360 the company might launch two of  Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 smartphones at the India event.

A decision regarding the same could be taken by this month end, Gadgets 360 report said. The report further said that  Nokia's 3310 (2017) feature phone could also be in the launch list.

Nokia, once the undisputed leader of the mobile phone space, now operates through HMD Global and unveiled the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and a revamped version of the iconic Nokia 3310 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year.

HMD's first Nokia-branded smartphone –Nokia 6 comes with a A 5.5-inch in-cell full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with X6 LTE modem coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also comes with a 64 GB on internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, Google's latest operating system.

As for camera, the Nokia 6 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF along with an 8 megapixel front snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies or video calling.

The phone is powered by 3,000mAh battery, and the sound output is powered by Dolby Atmos.

Nokia 5 5.2-inch display, with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) while the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass.

Like the Nokia 6, the Nokia 5 to has Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. But it has 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB storage.

Nokia 3 on the other hand has quad-core 1.3Ghz processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Nokia announced last year that it had licensed Finnish company HMD Global to produce Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets.

HMD has reached agreements with both Microsoft and Nokia for the use of the Nokia brand and some design rights. HMD is planning to spend some 400 million euros to market the Nokia brand for the next three years.
