Best 5 upcoming smartphones of the year 2017

With rapid change in the technology and upgradation of gadgets at a supersonic rate, it becomes difficult to settle for just one. Heading towards the end of the year is generally marked with the launch of some really impressive phones and gadgets and people are left sighing for not having the patience to wait. If you are all set to invest in a new phone, you might consider thinking again as we come up with a list of upcoming phones of 2017. Decide yourself if these are worth waiting for.

Google pixel 2

Providing the first bit of the information on new phones Rick Osterloh, SVP of hardware at Google confirmed that the pixel 2 would be a premium offering in 2017.  There isn't any confirmation regarding the names of the phones but the rumors suggest that the code names might be 'Walleye' and 'Taimen'. People are going gaga over the phone, which is yet to come, since they already have had the best camera experience with the Google pixel. 

Motorola Moto X4

Rumors have so far suggested that the phone will sport a metal body, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 hardware, and a 5.2 inches screen.  It is also supposed to have a fingerprint sensor which would detect gestures. The leaked slide of Motorola's presentation on phones makes the entry of new phones in 2017 certain. Expected to release sometime later in 2017, the phone has already gained popularity. 

Motorola Moto Z2

Where Motorola is all determined to own the market with the greatest range in the phones, speculations are that it might come back with another phone apart from X2. Since the phones of the 'play' series are always followed by the launch of a much improvised phone. Keeping in mind the yearly cycle of phone launches, Moto Z2 is expected to release somewhere in June, after the release of Moto Z in June 2016.   

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The release of the Note 8 is much confirmed after the note 7 fiasco and it failing to impress its audience. Plans are not to let the 'note' family die by improvising and rectifying what failed in the Note 7 model. Based on the previous designs of Samsung phones, we could expect a  dual camera system, the S-pen and an upgraded software. 

Nokia 8/9

Nokia phones are something everyone swears by. Even today, the Nokia phones with infinite battery backup are immensely missed. When people hoped that the era of Nokia with smartphones had come to an end, it launched three Android handsets at Mobile World Congress  in 2017. There have been speculations regarding the name of the upcoming phone, which is known as 'Nokia 8' for now but might be called 'Nokia 9'.
